The Tower of London, is a castle and royal palace founded towards the end of 1066. It gets it name from the White Tower which is a keep. The Crown Jewels have been kept at the Tower of London since 1303.

There are two cafés and two restaurants. The riverside Apostrophe café serves a selection of hot and cold meals, snacks and drinks, as does the out door Kiosk café.
The Perkin Reveller Restaurant and Bar is located on the Wharf just outside the Tower. You can enjoy your meal with views of Tower Bridge and the river Thames. The Armouries restaurant serves a wide variety of snacks and meals with fresh ingredients bought from London's food markets.
There are five shops: The Tower of London Shop, Jewel House Shop, White Tower Shop, Ravens Shop, and the Beefeater Shop.
The Tower of London Shop, at the main entrance, spans two floors and was formerly a Victorian building known as the Salvin Pumphouse. It sells a wide variety of items related to the museum and its displays.
The Jewel House Shop has a collection of precious and design led jewellery for sale. The White Tower Shop offers a unique selection of replica armour, weapons and gifts for men. The Ravens Shop is children’s shop selling items related to, Knights, Prisoners & Punishment, Kings, Queens and Princesses.
The Beefeater Shop sells guidebooks and a host of souvenirs inspired by Beefeaters. There are also over 60 varieties of traditional British sweets.
There are facilities for the disabled.
